4. Sollertia – Light (2017)

This is definitely one of the best debuts of 2017, featuring James Fogarty (In the Woods) on vocals, this release is quite diverse and very engaging for anybody looking at Gothic/Dark Metal music.

Needing no introduction, Xandria delivers their best album to date. Hopefully their band member woes do not affect their current momentum.

2. Cellar Darling – This is the Sound (2017)

Anna Murphy and part of Eluveitie split off the band to form this very entertaining and catchy outfit. Filled with highly memorable songs, you will find yourself with a few of them stuck in your head.
