Perfectly executing a mixture of Hardcore with Metal elements, the two tracks (plus an instrumental) in this release showcase the band’s vicious side with crushing vocals and powerful tempo changes.

Opening with the fierceness of “Starles”, we get some brutal chugging riffs that quickly transition into ravaging onslaughts of hectic guitar leads and pummeling vocals. Brandon Byars handles the vocals with gusto, unleashing a very lively performance in this fierce opening. After the atmospheric “When Peace, Like A River”, the band really twists the knife with the crafty tempo changes and headbanging nature of “Whispers In Omen”.

Alongside the band’s heavy side, there are some dark and melodic undertones to their music, making it far from linear and a pleasure to explore.
