The marriage of filth and beauty – Lifelover sign with Prophecy
With their three full-length albums "Pulver" (2006), "Erotik" (2007), and "Konkurs" (2008), as well as the "Dekadens" EP (2009), Lifelover have established themselves as one of the most eccentric and notorious bands on the scene in the last few years. The Swedes' unconventional music, their cynical image, and their chaotic live performances have had an extremely polarizing effect. After several changes of labels, Lifelover have now found a partner for a close, long-term collaboration: they have signed a contract with Prophecy Productions over four albums. Lifelover founding members B and ( ) consider the signing of the contract with Prophecy a logical step for their band: "We always strive to evolve with each effort that we pursue as a band. Signing to Prophecy feels like a good progression for us, and we look forward to work with a label for the first time with consecutive releases." A new album by Lifelover is scheduled for release in 2011.
"Whom The Moon A Nightsong Sings" compilation due out end of October
On October 29th, Auerbach Tontraeger / Prophecy Productions are going to release the compilation "Whom The Moon A Nightsong Sings." This 2CD collection with a playing time of over 100 minutes is exclusively dedicated to magical and nature-attuned acoustic music and unites all the main players and the most promising newcomers of the genre. We are particularly proud of the fact that the overwhelming majority of the artists contributed exclusive or rare tracks to this project. The tracklist is currently being revealed on Prophecy's Facebook profile and will be made known in its entirety at the end of next week. Stay tuned for further information on the compilation!
Secrets Of The Moon: "Antithesis" gatefold 2LP delayed for a few days
Unfortunately, the release date of Secrets Of The Moon's 2LP "Antithesis" has been postponed to September 8th. Every pre-order that we already received is going to be shipped on that very day. The mini LP "The Ambience Of A Dead Star" and the single "Them Bones / This Inner Soil" are not affected by this delay.
