The world’s leading independent metal label Nuclear Blast Records is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2017, and the celebrations will take place at SUMMER BREEZE Open Air in Dinkelsbühl!
That’s why this year the Nuclear Blast Label Night won’t be happening on Wednesday, but instead the entire programme of the Main Stage on Friday, August 18 2017 will be in the sign of Nuclear Blast, called “BLAST BASH – 30 Years Of Nuclear Blast”. All of the bands performing on the Main Stage that day are signed to Nuclear Blast, so you will get a good chance to familiarise yourself with at least a small part of the Nuclear Blast roster.
Since being founded by Markus Staiger in 1987, this metal foundry has developed into THE most important and biggest independent label for metal bands of all subgenres. What started 30 years ago with two hardcore/punk compilations and the Impulse Manslaughter debut album is now home of top-selling acts such as Slayer, Sabaton, Nightwish, Machine Head, Dimmu Borgir, Blind Guardian, Edguy and many more.
But, as always, building bands is also a main concern at Nuclear Blast, which is proven by the signing of bands such as, among others, The Charm The Fury, Spoil Engine and Double Crush Syndrome, whom you can also experience live at SUMMER BREEZE 2017…
The following bands will perform at the “BLAST BASH – 30 Years Of Nuclear Blast” on the festival Friday on the Main Stage:
AMORPHIS, AVERSIONS CROWN, BATTLE BEAST, BETONTOD, CELLAR DARLING, CHILDREN OF BODOM, ELUVEITIE, EPICA, HATEBREED, KREATOR, MEMORIAM, SONATA ARCTICA and WINTERSUN.
The exact stage times and running order will be published a few weeks before festival start. Look forward to a varied programme at this double birthday celebration on Friday, August 18 2017 at SUMMER BREEZE Open Air in Dinkelsbühl.
