DEATH ANGEL: Vocalist to Take Part in "Winter Metal Symphony"

Vocalist Mark Osegueda of Bay Area thrash legends, DEATH ANGEL, will be one of many contributing artists at this years Winter Metal Symphony (formerly the Christmas Metal Symphony), taking place on January 22, 2011 in Tilburg, Netherlands. Confirmed artist so far include Nils K. Rue (PAGAN MIND), Anneke van Giersbergen (ex-THE GATHERING), Anna Phoebe (TSO).

PLACE OF SKULLS Join The Giddy Up! Records Roster; European Tour To Commence This Saturday

Giddy Up! Records is pleased to announce the addition of Tennessee doomers PLACE OF SKULLS to their expanding artist roster, which currently includes Moth Eater, Black Water Rising and Demonica. The New York City-based indie imprint will release PLACE OF SKULLS' fourth full-length, As A Dog Returns, in North American on November 9, 2010.

GORGOROTH To Release Re-Recorded Version Of Under The Sign Of Hell

Norwegian black metallers GORGOROTH recently returned from Tomas Asklund's Monolith Studio putting the finishing touches on a project that's been a secret until now: A complete re-recording of the band's third album Under The Sign Of Hell. It has long been guitarist Infernus' wish to do such a re-recording, and now the work is close to complete. A final release date has not yet been set.
