BLACK ELK West Coast assault

Black Elk's quick assault on the West Coast kicks off this Tuesday. They'll barrel down the Pacific Coast and back, dropping six shows in five days and joining forces with Made Out of Babies, Intronaut, Kylesa and more along the way. If you are anywhere near the are, come maul and/or be mauled.

SAGA - new album

For months, thousands of Saga fans have been asking themselves anxiously: how will the band sound after vocalist Michael Sadler’s departureω Before going into any more detail, let’s answer the big question: on their latest album, The Human Condition, Saga still sound unmistakably like Saga but with a big dash freshness. The essential elements of the sound which the band has continuously developed over decades, their rocking attitude, haunting melodies, virtuoso solo passages and intelligent arrangements, haven't changed one bit in 2009.

GENERAL SURGERY news + US release date!!!

Swedish doctors GENERAL SURGERY uploaded some new music on their Myspace and the Media section of their website, including one more song of their new album Corpus In Extremis: Analysing Necrocriticism entitled “Final Excarnation”.

Corpus In Extremis is slated for North American release on April 7th.

And for your eyes now, a couple of videos from last weekend’s festivities at Kafé 44 have been posted, courtesy of Demonias blog.
