Exodus – Shovel Headed Tour Machine (Live At Wacken And Other Atrocities) (2010)

The legendary band Exodus finally releases a DVD that is worth watching well I’ve only got to listen to it so far, but from the audio quality and the quality of the performance I assume is pretty good.

The DVD only features 11 songs; something that I feel is not enough considering their impressive discography. But they are more than enough to leave you wanting more and trying to catch them live, especially with master drummer Nick Barker on their most recent tours.

The only problem I find with this release is that they wasted 3 tracks on songs from their last full-length album “Let There Be Blood” that was a complete embarrassment and disappointment from this legendary band. Other than this fact, the whole CD is pretty fucking good.

If you are a Bay Area Trash Metal fan, you need to pick this live DVD/CD up since it brings back some good memories. The sound quality of this CD/DVD is amazing and you can’t even tell it’s a live recording, but you can hear the occasional crowd interaction here and there, to get the authentic live album feeling.
